The Indianapolis Colts will be upgrading Lucas Oil Stadium with new LED (light emitting diode) ribbon displays, designed, manufactured and installed by Daktronics, Inc. (Nasdaq – DAKT) of Brookings, S.D.
The stadium will feature two new ribbon displays each measuring approximately 5 feet high by 115 feet wide. These high-resolution displays to be located below the main corner video displays, will deliver game information and sponsor messages to the crowds cheering on the Colts.
“We look forward to seeing space devoted to NFL and game stats. The displays will enhance the fan experience by providing stats from that day’s game and fantasy stats,” said Jay Souers, Vice President of Sponsorship Sales for the Indianapolis Colts. “Cooperation has always been good working through the installation and service with Daktronics.”
“We have a great relationship with the Indianapolis Colts organization and look forward to continuing it by providing Lucas Oil Stadium with these additional displays,” said Regional Sales Manager Will Ellerbruch.
The new ribbon displays will integrate seamlessly with current Daktronics integrated large screen video, ribbon displays, and scoring system installed in 2008. Daktronics LED technology offers a long lifetime with minimal maintenance and low power consumption, providing values and excitement for years to come.
