BOSE Store Singapore using Signbox Audience Measurement SystemBOSE, world renowned for selling premium home entertainment and sound systems, are the new owners of a Signbox digital signage system. BOSE Singapore dealer, Atlas, have also purchased the signEye digital signage package that captures key audience measurement data and provides new analytical capabilities to better understand and communicate with their valued customers.

The signEye digital signage audience measurement system uses a digital camera in conjunction with the latest in facial recognition technology, to identify audience metrics that occur in the field of vision. The digital camera is embedded in the screen frame and will normally be located above or below a digital signage screen, so the recorded metrics are directly related to the content being shown on the digital signage screen in real time.

signEye metrics include:

-Age group
-Gender
-Total number of people in the vicinity of the screen (possible impressions)
-Total number of people that looked directly at the screen (actual impressions)
-Length of time people spent looking at the screen (length of impression)
-Length of time people spent in the vicinity of the screen (dwell time)

Advertising content shown on the digital signage screen can change in real time depending on the measured characteristics of the audience actually looking at the screen.

“We chose the Signbox digital signage solution as it was the optimum product to enhance our in-store advertising. We are always looking to further improve our engagement with our customers, and their experience with our brands. We are encouraged with the results so far, and are exploring rolling it out amongst our other stores in Singapore.” – said Chris Lee of Atlas Sound & Vision Pte Ltd, distributor of BOSE in Singapore, Malaysia & Brunei.

The system will be rolled out across stores island wide, starting with the BOSE store in Millenia Walk, and quickly followed by the upmarket Atlas Store at TripleOne, Somerset. This project is one of the many that is underway between the collaboration of Signbox and Sovis Pte Ltd.

The team at Atlas hope that this investment in digital signage will lead to better brand recognition as they provide top quality premium audio and video equipment to their customers. Going forward, BOSE will be pushing new boundaries with the high end audio and video retail experience –giving customers a memorable retail experience that they can bring home together with their purchase.

Further development will see BOSE also integrate Signbox’s signEye technology together with interactive touch screen portals integrated with premium in-store display panels for infotainment, interactive catalogues and product trailers.
