Larnaca International Airport Enhances Traveler Experience with Cutting-Edge Digital Signage Network

Larnaca International Airport in Cyprus has implemented one of the largest digital signage networks in the country, featuring over 330 LCD screens powered by more than 40 Scala 5 Players. This advanced digital signage solution, deployed in collaboration with Ad Airport Media and Clear Channel Interspace Airports, provides a modern way to greet travelers and inform them about Cyprus as a destination.

Key Features of the Digital Signage Network

The digital network is strategically placed throughout the airport, showcasing both static and dynamic media. Advertisements focus primarily on Cyprus’s tourism attractions and high-end brands, including Rolex, Vodafone, and luxury real estate properties. The network helps advertisers reach an audience that averages 40,000 visitors on weekdays and 55,000 on weekends.

Innovative Installations for Maximum Impact

Upon arrival, passengers are introduced to two high-tech media displays—the Sequential Digital Strip and the i-Player—installed near the terminal’s moving walkways. The Sequential Digital Strip features blocks of screens (ranging from eight to 64 screens) displaying synchronized content. The timing of the content loop is precisely coordinated with the time passengers spend on the travelator, ensuring that each message is fully viewed.
