Daktronics, Inc. (Nasdaq – DAKT) of Brookings, S.D., announced that Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D., has installed new Daktronics LED video displays at their facility.
“The Ralph Engelstad Arena is committed to providing a world-class guest experience,” said Jody Hodgson, General Manager. “Our new six millimeter boards from Daktronics help us achieve that goal.”
Ralph Engelstad Arena replaced four LED video displays in their centerhung display. Each display measures approximately 9 feet high by 15 feet wide and features 6 millimeter line spacing. Incorporating excellent clarity and contrast of video images, the displays will have the ability to broadcast live video, sponsorship messages, crowd-pleasing graphics and team logos.
“We are excited to continue our ten year partnership with Ralph Engelstad Arena,” said Matt Warnke, Daktronics Sales. “These new state-of-the-art six millimeter displays will provide unparalleled image quality and add to an already exciting game day experience.”
In 2001, Daktronics installed the existing video display on the centerhung, digital ribbon displays, fixed digit scoreboards, shot clocks, locker rooms clocks, and other equipment throughout the arena.
