ICA selects ZetaDisplay’s technical platform for in-store TV
ZetaDisplay is to be the supplier of the technical platform for ICA’s in-store TV system. ZetaDisplay will be supplying both the technical platform, operational support and other services to ICA stores throughout Sweden.
The ICA Group has about 1,400 trader-owned stores in Sweden.
Breakthrough for a new medium
ZetaDisplay sees this order as a breakthrough for digital active media, also known as digital signage, within retailing:
“This agreement provides a real step forward for active media in retailing. The market has been waiting for a major player to invest in this medium. We are naturally very pleased that our technical platform has been chosen, and are convinced that this will be followed by other major retailing chains. Our estimate is that this order will amount to about SEK 50 million over four years,” comments Leif Liljebrunn, ZetaDisplay Vice President.
ICA AB has signed a four-year framework agreement with ZetaDisplay, which means that ZetaDisplay will supply technical equipment to retail sites and to the ICA central location, along with its own in-house developed software. In addition, ZetaDisplay will be responsible for the compilation of content in its studio, the communication with individual stores, support and monitoring.
ZetaDisplay is a leading supplier of active store information on flat displays within retailing and in public environments in the Nordic market. ZetaDisplay has over 40 employees and has continued in recent years to grow in Sweden, acquired companies in Denmark and Finland, and established a subsidiary in Norway.

RoninCast Digital Signage by Wireless Ronin Selected for New Windsor, Canada Sports Arena
