AdOnMo, a prominent player in India’s Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising sector, has raised $25 million in a new funding round led by Rigel Capital, with support from existing investors. Established in 2017, the Hyderabad-based company has built a significant presence with its digital screen network across major cities in India, offering data-driven and hyperlocal advertising solutions to a broad spectrum of brands.

Expanding India’s Largest Digital Screen Network

Founded in 2017, AdOnMo has rapidly grown to become a prominent name in the DOOH space, with a presence in 24 cities and over 30,000 digital displays. The company’s innovative use of technology through its proprietary content management system, Acumen CMS, allows brands to deliver customized, data-driven advertising that is contextually relevant to the audience. The system leverages real-time data and location intelligence to optimize ad placement, ensuring that brands can engage effectively with target consumers in high-traffic environments such as residential communities, gyms, supermarkets, and corporate offices.

AdOnMo’s existing network serves a diverse range of advertisers and currently supports over 5,000 brands, offering dynamic live content, geofencing capabilities, and interactive features like QR/NFC-powered engagements. These capabilities allow for personalized experiences, making it a preferred partner for advertisers looking for high-impact visibility.

The $25 million funding round follows a $15 million Series B investment in 2022, which saw participation from food delivery giant Zomato. With the fresh infusion of capital, AdOnMo aims to expand its digital screen network to 100,000 displays and extend its reach to 40 cities across India. This expansion is expected to increase Adonmo’s potential audience to over 30 million unique viewers, enabling the company to deliver even greater brand visibility and engagement.

The company’s strategy revolves around utilizing advanced advertising technology to create a seamless integration of offline and online marketing channels. By incorporating features such as dynamic creative optimization and social media-driven triggers, AdOnMo is enhancing the ability of brands to connect with audiences in meaningful ways. These interactive campaigns not only drive consumer engagement but also offer measurable returns, helping brands achieve specific marketing objectives.

Sebastian Togelang, Founding Partner of Rigel Capital, expressed confidence in Adonmo’s potential to transform the Indian DOOH landscape. “Adonmo’s focus on hyperlocal intelligence and its robust digital infrastructure aligns with our vision of supporting technology-driven companies that create impactful solutions. We see tremendous growth potential in Adonmo as it continues to innovate and expand its digital screen network.”

Adonmo’s Vision for the Future

The company’s leadership is optimistic about the future, emphasizing the growing importance of ambient contextual advertising in urban marketing strategies. Co-founder Sravanth Gajula noted, “With this funding, we aim to further our mission of engaging over 30 million urban consumers, providing our advertisers with exceptional reach and impact.” Co-founder Sandeep Bommireddi added, “Our goal is to integrate deeply into India’s urban infrastructure, creating meaningful interactions for millions of viewers daily. We’re excited to have Rigel Capital’s support as we take our next steps.”

With the latest round of funding, AdOnMo is set to scale its operations significantly and drive the next wave of growth in India’s digital advertising market. By combining advanced technology, hyperlocal targeting, and a wide-reaching digital network, the company is poised to redefine the DOOH advertising landscape in India, providing brands with enhanced opportunities for visibility and engagement across the country.
