75Media, a distinguished entity in the UK’s out-of-home (OOH) advertising landscape, has formally declared the acquisition of iQ OOH, a London-based firm specializing in digital billboards. This acquisition represents a substantial expansion of 75Media’s digital roadside network, further cementing its status as one of the most rapidly growing companies in the sector.

This strategic integration involves the incorporation of iQ OOH’s 81 digital panels into 75Media’s existing portfolio. In addition to the physical assets, this acquisition encompasses the transfer of all personnel from iQ OOH, including its founders, Tim de Monte and David Peters. This amalgamation significantly enhances 75Media’s digital large format roadside presence, bringing the total number of digital billboards it operates to over 200 across the United Kingdom.

Founded in 2021 by former Global directors De Monte and Peters, iQ OOH has rapidly gained prominence in the digital billboard domain. This acquisition aligns seamlessly with 75Media’s strategic vision of establishing itself as the preeminent roadside OOH network in the UK.

Beyond its digital inventory, 75Media also possesses a substantial portfolio of 300 large format classic paper billboards, bringing the company’s total reach to over 500 sites, extending from Aberdeen in the North to Bournemouth in the South. The company is actively pursuing further expansion opportunities and is engaged in an ambitious organic growth strategy in collaboration with its infrastructure partner, Wildstone.

Paul Inman, Managing Director at 75Media, articulated his enthusiasm regarding the acquisition, underscoring the strategic synergy in skills, specialties, and site locations between 75Media and iQ OOH. Mr. Inman reiterated the company’s dedication to sustainable growth, excellence in service, and delivering value to its investors. He also emphasized the firm’s ambition to become the paramount network for brands in the UK, focusing on premium site quality and superior customer service.

Tim de Monte, representing iQ OOH, conveyed a similar sentiment, acknowledging the enhanced market proposition resulting from the union of these two entities.

The acquisition has broadened 75Media’s workforce to 35 employees, with its headquarters in Leeds and staff stationed across major urban centers in the UK. This strategic maneuver elevates 75Media into the ranks of the top six OOH networks in the UK and marks an important milestone in the company’s ongoing growth and development trajectory.
