Wildstone, a leading owner of outdoor media infrastructure operating across the UK, Europe, and Australia, has announced Stuart Smith as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The appointment comes as the company accelerates its international expansion, including recent market entries in Australia, Spain, and Germany.
Stuart Smith joins Wildstone with significant experience in global finance. His previous roles include senior finance positions at Entain, a global leader in the gaming industry. At Entain, Smith played a key role in the company’s evolution, helping to transition private equity-backed Gala Coral into a FTSE 100-listed entity.
Smith’s expertise spans international financial operations, mergers and acquisitions, market expansion, and business integration. These capabilities align closely with Wildstone’s strategic goals as it continues its overseas growth and strengthens its presence in existing markets.
In recent years, Wildstone has established itself as a prominent player in digital out-of-home (DOOH) media in the UK. The company has developed over 1,000 digital outdoor advertising panels, replacing traditional billboards with digital screens and introducing new DOOH sites. This marks one of the most extensive digital rollouts in the UK.
The company’s recent entry into Australia, alongside its broader international expansion, reflects its ongoing focus on strengthening its presence in outdoor media infrastructure.
Stuart Smith, now CFO of Wildstone, expressed enthusiasm for his new role: “I am excited to join Wildstone during this pivotal time in its growth. With a talented team and strong backing, the company is well-positioned to expand further into international markets. I look forward to contributing my expertise to support Wildstone’s continued success.”
Damian Cox, CEO and Founder of Wildstone, welcomed Smith to the team: “We are delighted to have Stuart on board. His extensive experience in global financial operations will be invaluable as we continue to expand our footprint and strengthen our position as a leader in outdoor media infrastructure.”
