Philadelphia, PA — Scala Inc. has announced the appointment of Dr. Stefan Menger as the new Vice President of Advanced Analytics. Dr. Menger, previously Vice President of Business Analytics at ColdLight Solutions, brings extensive expertise in neural-network-based analytics, particularly within the marketing sector.
Tom Nix, CEO of Scala, expressed his enthusiasm about Dr. Menger’s addition to the team, emphasizing the significant potential to enhance retail and fast-food sales through advanced data analytics. “We are extremely pleased to have Stefan leading our Advanced Analytics practice at Scala. With over two decades of experience in Data Analytics across multiple industries, including Healthcare, Pharma, Energy, and IT, Dr. Menger’s credentials are impressive. He earned his Ph.D. in Geophysics from Ruhr University Bochum in Germany in 1991. Throughout his international career, he has held pivotal roles in both startups and Fortune-500 companies.
Dr. Menger’s notable prior roles include Director of Engineering at Siemens Medical, where he managed the development and support of Siemens’ Radiology Information System product line, and Manager of Application Development at Halliburton Energy Services, leading the team for processing and analyzing MRI data from oil wells. Additionally, he has authored and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed papers and holds several patents.
