Scala, Inc. (Stand E45) will provide visitors the opportunity to experience and test exciting, new digital signage solutions, via a unique and inspiring configuration of 35 MicroTiles, provided by Christie.
To showcase a number of innovations that help organisations boldly command the attention of connected consumers with their digital signage, the Scala exhibit will include a new interactive screen communication solution that can be managed through a variety of mobile devices, including a smart phone, Apple iPad or tablet, using QR code technology. The solution enables organisations to connect to individuals with micro-targeted messaging. Scala stand visitors that participate in this interactive experience can enter a draw to win a new iPad.
“This installation demonstrates that Scala digital signage software is the solution for mission-critical business applications. Christie’s MicroTiles are perfect to take the customer experience to an even higher level. Their digital canvas is an absolute premium eyecatcher in each environment. By using MicroTiles, the Scala QR code solution’s impact is maximised” says Damon Crowhurst, Senior Director, Scala EMEA
Concept Digital (Stand B5) will demonstrate a 3 x 3 Christie MicroTiles array primarily targeting the indoor mall and advertising market, utilising a variety of dynamic content.
Symon Dacon (Stand C47) will present an array of 20 Christie MicroTiles in a 2×10 configuration, to promote one of the core principles of the multi award winning digital canvas: to attract the attention of those slightly further afield whilst similarly appealing to those who are also close by. The eye-catching content will effectively promote the product showcase whilst also informing and familiarising visitors with the Symon Dacon brand.
Finally, Amigo Digital (Stand F45) has created a reception area for their stand, complete with ‘Virtual Elevator’ as a visual mechanism to illustrate the variety of creative services they offer. The Virtual Elevator is made up of 28 Christie MicroTiles in a 4 x 7 configuration which will display the elevator doors and the interior of the elevator itself in the form of photorealistic digital imagery. The doors will periodically open and shut revealing the range of content Amigo produce and the clients they work with.
To add intrigue to the installation, every so often, the Elevator doors might sometimes reveal something totally unexpected… Alex Hughes, Director of Amigo, explains; “To recreate photorealistic elevator doors and to model the interior of an elevator convincingly requires a set of screens that can display content at a high resolution whilst also displaying realistic content convincingly. With their high definition and the way in which they display imagery so realistically, MicroTiles fit our requirements perfectly.”
