The event, the largest communications and systems integration technology exhibition in Asia, will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 17th to 19th, with ATEN exhibiting at Booth 12D01.
This marks ATEN’s debut at infoComm Asia, where the company will introduce its new Media Distribution Solution featuring patented Deskew technology, along with a live demonstration of its advanced Media Matrix Solution. The exhibition will also feature ATEN’s full range of HDMI solutions, including video switch/splitter/extender products, SOHO KVM switches, and KVM extenders.
Highlighting VanCryst™ Solutions

Media Matrix Solution
The newly introduced VanCryst™ Media Matrix Solution comprises an 8-input/8-output Cat 5 A/V Matrix Switch (VM0808T) and an A/V Over Cat 5 A/V extender (VE500). This versatile solution allows routing of any of 8 audio/video sources to any of 8 displays, offering an easy and cost-effective method to manage multiple sources and displays. The VM0808T connects to source devices via eight VE500T transmitters and outputs to displays through eight VE500R/VE500RQ receivers. The unit also includes local A/V inputs/outputs for additional connectivity on the same rack.
The Media Matrix Solution provides several control options, including front panel pushbuttons, an RS-232/RS-485 serial port, and remote management via a browser-based web interface or Telnet session.
Media Distribution Solution
ATEN’s VanCryst™ Media Distribution Solution features a 4 or 8 port A/V over Cat 5 splitter (VS1204T or VS1208T) and a VE170R or VE170RQ A/V over Cat 5 Receiver. This solution is designed for installations that require multimedia content distribution from a single source to multiple destinations. Using Cat 5e cable, the displays can be positioned up to 300 meters (1000 feet) away from the source. The solution supports high-quality video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200@60Hz, with the VE170RQ receiver incorporating ATEN’s patented Deskew technology to manually synchronize the RGB signal, ensuring optimal video quality over long distances.
KVM Switches: Essential for Server Management
ATEN also highlights the importance of KVM (Keyboard, Video, and Mouse) switches, which allow centralized control of multiple computers from a single console. These switches are essential for optimizing rack space in server rooms and data centers, reducing costs, and streamlining IT workflows. Modern KVM solutions also offer over-IP functionality, enabling remote management capabilities to meet the demands of globalized operations.
