Peerless-AV, a leading provider of AV solutions, has introduced three newly redesigned SmartMount Articulating Wall Mounts. The updated models—SA752PU, SA761PU, and SA771PU—are designed to support larger displays ranging from 43” to 90” and offer enhanced durability, smoother articulation, and easier installation. These improvements aim to meet the growing demand for versatile mounting systems in industries such as hospitality, education, corporate, and government.
Key Enhancements for Large Displays
The redesigned SmartMount models are built with high-quality steel and cast aluminum arms, ensuring long-term strength and stability for larger and heavier displays. The use of brass bushings enables smoother movement, allowing for easy positioning of displays without compromising safety.
In response to the trend toward larger screens, the updated models feature longer arms for an expanded viewing range. The enhanced adapter brackets also offer greater flexibility in VESA mounting patterns, allowing for more versatile placement. Additionally, Peerless-AV’s Hook and Hang™ system has been refined with a larger landing area, simplifying the process of attaching heavier displays.
The models are finished with a durable powder coating, making them resistant to scratches and chips, ensuring a sleek appearance even with frequent adjustments.
Simplified Installation and Enhanced Flexibility
The SmartMount Articulating Wall Mount series has been designed with installers in mind, offering several features that streamline the installation process. The I-shaped adapter helps center displays, while the Locking Tilt mechanism allows for easy adjustment to the perfect viewing angle. The mounts also allow for up to 90 degrees of pivoting and 5-degree post-installation leveling, enabling fine-tuning after installation.
The SA752PU model supports display extension up to 765mm (30.1”) from the wall, while the SA761PU and SA771PU models extend up to 774mm (30.5”). All models can retract to just 76mm (3.0”) from the wall for a more compact installation. A newly improved horizontal adjustment range of ±8.0” (203mm) ensures that displays can be centered on walls, even if the stud spacing is uneven.
Improved Cable Management and Accessibility
The redesigned mounts feature enhanced cable management, including snap-in covers that conceal hardware and wall plates for a clean and professional look. The open-access design and In-Wall box accessories (IB14X9-W, IB14X14-W) allow for flexible power and AV device placement, making it easier to access and manage cables during installation. The versatile wall plate supports stud spacings of 406mm (16”), 508mm (20”), and up to 609mm (24”) with the ACC-SAWPE accessory.
