Carol Nordin, president of TouchSystems, will speak about the intersection of healthcare, Pro A/V, and interactive digital signage.
Carol Nordin, president of TouchSystems, will speak at one of the interactive technology sessions at Digital Signage Expo 2013 (DSE2013). She will discuss the intersection of interactive signage, professional audio and visual systems (Pro A/V), and the healthcare industry.
When asked why she chose the particular topic, Carol Nordin said, “I have noticed a marked increase in interest for touch solutions as related to Pro A/V. Pro A/V touches a number of verticals, including healthcare. The healthcare one is of specific interest to us at TouchSystems because of the potential benefits to using touchscreens in that environment. It’s a challenging vertical because of health and security concerns, but we believe that preparing Pro A/V professionals for those challenges will help to create solutions that meet our short- and long-term needs and goals.”
Carol Nordin will speak at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Interactive Technology Theater. She and other representatives from TouchSystems will be available to answer questions following the session at their booth (756). They also will have products on display at the booth.
