InfoComm 2024 Attracts Over 30,271 Attendees and 833 Exhibitors in Las Vegas Event

InfoComm 2024, held from June 8-14 in Las Vegas, Nevada, brought together global professionals from the pro AV industry for a week of innovation, education, and networking. The event featured over 800 exhibitors, a diverse education program, and special events like An Evening at Sphere.

“There are so many layers to InfoComm, which allows each participant to select a unique path. Professional development, technology demonstrations, networking, and experiential AV at sites around Las Vegas – it was all here in one place for a week,” stated David Labuskes, CEO of AVIXA. “InfoComm is a high-energy, busy week for thousands of people that sparks innovations, creates connections, and makes lasting memories.”

Record Participation and International Attendance

InfoComm 2024 saw a total of 36,967 registrants, with 30,271 verified attendees from 125 countries. This marked a significant post-COVID milestone, with international attendees comprising 23% of the total. Of the non-exhibitor attendees, 71% were from the pro AV channel, and 29% were end users.

Extensive Exhibitor Showcase

The event featured 833 exhibitors displaying a wide range of pro AV products and solutions across 407,000 net square feet in the West and Central Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Special Opening Night: An Evening at Sphere

On June 11, more than 2,600 pro AV professionals gathered for An Evening at Sphere, an immersive event that set the stage for the week’s activities.

Insightful Keynote Sessions

Joe Pham, Chairman and CEO of QSC | Q-SYS, delivered a keynote titled “Everything Has Changed: AV’s Infinite Potential in an Exponential Age,” addressing the transformative impact of AI on the pro AV industry to an audience of over 600 attendees.

Danielle Feinberg, Visual Effects Supervisor at Pixar Animation Studios, headlined the 10th annual AVIXA Women’s Breakfast, sharing her experiences and insights from her career at Pixar, including her involvement in the studio’s first all-female leadership team for the film “Turning Red.”

Congreso AVIXA and Latin American Reception

The second in-person Congreso AVIXA, conducted in Spanish, focused on crucial business topics such as creative thinking, adaptability to change, and business efficiency strategies. The Latin American Reception attracted over 300 attendees.

Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) Milestones

Several attendees took the Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) exam at InfoComm 2024, with 171 professionals earning their credentials: 104 achieved CTS, 28 attained CTS-D (Design), and 31 earned CTS-I (Installation), bringing the total number of CTS holders to over 14,000.

Launch of AVA AI

AVIXA introduced AVA AI, powered by Open AI, to help attendees navigate the show floor, education sessions, events, and transportation. AVA AI was developed by the AVIXA IT department using OpenAI’s large language model and integrated into the show’s official app.

InfoComm 2025 is set to take place from June 7-13, with exhibits running from June 11-14, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
