PPDS seems to be way faster than others in introducing the latest ePaper displays into action. The new 13” Philips Tableaux 4150 is the newest ePaper model brought to market by PPDS, offering more options to customers and enhancing their digital signage solutions. This latest innovation in energy-efficient digital signage was introduced at InfoComm 2024, providing businesses with a sustainable solution for full-color ePaper displays.

The 13” Philips Tableaux 4150 extends the existing Philips Tableaux size range, joining the 25” and 32” models launched in previous years. This new display, showcased at the Philips Booth W2544 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from June 12-14, addresses the needs of various sectors, including retail, corporate, hospitality, healthcare, and transportation.

Developed with E Ink, the 13” Philips Tableaux 4150 features ‘zero power’ ePaper technology, consuming energy only during image changes. The display offers a 1600 x 1200 resolution, ensuring clear and vivid messaging, even in direct sunlight.

Weighing just 1.3kg and designed for 24/7 operation, the 13” Tableaux is easily transportable and can be installed in locations with limited or no power sources. The display runs on Android 11 OS, optimized for native and web apps, providing versatility for applications such as wayfinding, promotional displays, live transport information, and menu boards.

The new Philips Tableaux 4150 Android SoC model includes 16GB of internal memory, eliminating the need for an external media player. Content can be updated via USB, LAN, or WiFi connections. Additionally, businesses can manage content remotely through PPDS’ Wave platform, enabling efficient control over multiple displays.

The 13” Philips Tableaux 4150 helps businesses reduce paper waste and associated costs by digitizing their signage. This aligns with PPDS’ commitment to providing energy-conscious display solutions. The display’s low power consumption contributes to a more sustainable approach to digital signage.

PPDS demonstrated the 13” Philips Tableaux 4150 and other energy-efficient digital signage solutions at InfoComm 2024. This includes the Philips Signage 3000 Series EcoDesign (QE-Line), which offers high-impact 4K performance with half the energy consumption, earning the EPEAT Silver Climate+ label for displays.
