Woodforest National Bank Enhances Communication, Product Offerings to Customers at Free-Standing, Walmart Branches
Omnivex Corporation, the premier provider of enterprise software for digital signage networks, announced today the deployment of a digital signage network at Woodforest National Bank, a Houston-based financial institution serving customers in 13 states.
Woodforest is the first bank in Texas to launch a 24/7 full-banking concept and the first full-service bilingual bank for Hispanic customers. Another initiative on which the bank is embarking is a digital signage network in free-standing offices and at branches inside Walmart, the world’s largest retailer.
Woodforest has rolled out more than 100 digital screens inside branch entrances and at teller stations in some of its 35 free-standing and 500 Walmart bank branches in the Midwest, South and East regions of the U.S. When the deployment is completed, more than 600 branches will be running Omnivex software.”We selected Omnivex because of its ability to handle data,” said Cindi Stewart, Vice President of Marketing for Woodforest National Bank. “Having the Omnivex scheduling product helps Woodforest execute its digital marketing campaigns in a timely and efficient manner – all from our offices in Houston. We’re finding this is an excellent strategy for bolstering customer service and a true competitive advantage. Omnivex gives us a dynamic visual communication system.”
Omnivex is the only software solution to be data-centric and to drive contextualized messages. Multiple displays can also be managed from a single point.
“Woodforest National Bank is changing the way banks think about how they interact with customers, and it’s reaping the benefits,” said Jeff Collard, President of Omnivex. “Many organizations think of digital signs as an extension of static signs, but Woodforest is tailoring its messaging to a targeted group of viewers. With Omnivex, Woodforest is capable of changing its messaging at a moment’s notice to react to world news or market events. This is a seminal change in the way business is conducted.”
Besides the current focus on content, Woodforest National Bank also plans to deploy Omnivex Control software, which will enable Woodforest network administrators to manage digital signage hardware from hundreds or even thousands of miles away. Omnivex software can turn on displays and PCs that were inadvertently switched off as well as power down monitors during off-business hours to extend the lives of the products. The Control software also can pinpoint screens that need maintenance. This saves time for technicians who otherwise would be searching for displays across an entire location.
