In case if you missed

Amino, an enterprise video and digital signage technology provider, has announced the successful deployment of its innovative H200 4K media player and Orchestrate remote device management platform across more than 500 Paddy Power locations in the UK and Ireland. This collaboration, part of the sports betting giant’s ongoing modernization, streamlines video content delivery and enhances customer engagement through dynamic, low-latency video streams and real-time betting odds displays.

The rollout marks a significant technological upgrade for Paddy Power, a division of Flutter Entertainment. The transition integrates satellite video content delivery and legacy customer information systems into a unified, commercial-grade infrastructure powered by Amino’s purpose-built hardware and cloud-based management systems.

Streamlined Operations and Cost Savings

By leveraging Amino’s H200 media player, Paddy Power has centralized live sporting events, virtual sports betting, and real-time odds and pricing displays within its stores. The Orchestrate cloud platform empowers the betting chain to provision, schedule, and manage devices remotely, reducing complexity and minimizing operational costs.

The H200’s power-over-Ethernet (PoE) functionality has further simplified installation with single-cable deployment, enabling seamless operation in concealed setups. This approach has significantly reduced reliance on costly PCs and servers, generating substantial savings and operational efficiencies for Paddy Power.

Enhancing the Customer Experience

Colm Codd, Head of Technology – Retail at Paddy Power, emphasized the solution’s transformative impact on in-store experiences.
“The H200-Orchestrate solution from Amino checked all the boxes for us. The centralized management of in-store displays ensures content compliance and relevance across locations. We’re confident this enhanced retail environment will result in higher customer satisfaction,” said Codd.

Mark Carlisle, CEO of Amino, highlighted the importance of delivering low-latency, real-time content for businesses in the betting industry.
“The real-time demands of today’s betting shops are critical. Our solutions provide Paddy Power with a competitive edge by enhancing their customer experience and meeting rising expectations,” Carlisle noted.

Amino’s Orchestrate platform has gained significant industry acclaim, recently earning a finalist spot in the AV Awards 2024 under the Digital Signage Technology of the Year category.
