Milan, Italy – C-nario, a global provider of digital signage software solutions, announced today the implementation of its C-nario Messenger digital signage platform at Milan’s Malpensa and Linate Airports, as well as in the city’s subway stations. This initiative, led by Italy’s leading outdoor advertising company IGPDecaux, aims to enhance advertising and passenger experience at these major transportation hubs.
At Malpensa Airport, the digital signage network has been installed in Terminals 1 and 2, featuring 40 multimedia LCD totems of 57 inches. Linate Airport has similarly been equipped with 41 vertical LCD totem screens of the same size. Additionally, Milan’s main subway stations will see the installation of 67 LCD totems (57 inches). These displays were manufactured by Hantarex, a renowned Italian producer of digital screens.
IGPDecaux initiated and operates the digital signage networks, selecting C-nario’s platform after a thorough evaluation process involving several digital signage companies. The installation and content management of the networks were coordinated by DOOH.it, a Turin-based company specializing in digital signage solutions.
The LCD totems display ads from prominent organizations, including banks, government ministries, and well-known fashion brands, all in high pixel resolution. This provides advertisers with a powerful platform to reach a wide audience in high-traffic areas.
Yael Elstein, VP of Marketing at C-nario, highlighted the significance of these projects: “The deployments at Milan’s airports and subway stations reinforce C-nario’s leading position in the transportation industry. Malpensa and Linate join a list of major airports worldwide where our solutions have been implemented, including 12 airports in the US, Shanghai airports in China, and more.”
The vertical totem screens, developed by Hantarex, were customized to meet specific placement needs and optimize visibility. This attention to detail ensures that the digital signage network delivers maximum impact for advertisers and an enhanced experience for passengers.
