As Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising continues to thrive in developed markets, consumer lifestyle changes and media fragmentation have fueled the growth of this dynamic medium. In line with these trends, Signage Circus, a leading provider of digital screen video solutions for both indoor and outdoor applications, has introduced a groundbreaking 360-degree digital LED display in India. This innovative technology is poised to redefine advertising by offering unparalleled visibility and engagement.
To showcase the capabilities of this cutting-edge display, Signage Circus has deployed one unit at the Centre One Mall in Vashi, Mumbai. The display is part of a one-year contract with the mall’s owner, allowing visitors to experience firsthand the impact of 360-degree digital advertising. Signage Circus operates on a rental-based business model, working with media owners and advertising agencies, though it is also open to selling these advanced displays.
Innovative Display Features
The Signage 360 digital LED display is a cylindrical screen capable of playing high-definition content. Its unique 360-degree design allows it to be viewed from all angles, significantly enhancing visibility and exposure for advertisers. Standing over 8 feet tall, the display is equipped with Bluetooth technology, enabling passersby to download advertisers’ messages directly to their mobile phones by simply activating Bluetooth.
With an investment of over ₹1 crore per unit, Signage Circus has initially launched six units, with an additional 30 units in transit. Chirag Barot, Director of Signage Circus, emphasized the growing momentum of the digital signage industry, noting that these new displays offer superior visuals compared to traditional billboards. “These digital screens provide ease of ad replacement, which can be done remotely and instantly, unlike the time-consuming exercise with conventional billboards. As far as returns are concerned, these deliver high value and are lucrative,” Barot stated.
Rushabh Shah, Head of Marketing at Signage Circus, further explained the versatility and advanced features of the displays. “With these cylindrical digital screens, the communication uses cutting-edge technology to provide up-to-the-minute information when and where our clients require it. The displays can be manufactured in several aesthetically attractive designs to fit any environment, whether indoors or outdoors. The viewing angles can be adjusted to 360, 180, or 90 degrees for both static and moving visuals, catering to various advertising needs,” Shah added.
Targeted Deployment and Availability
The media became available to advertisers on May 19, 2011, and is ideally suited for high-traffic locations such as airports, cinema halls, railway stations, shopping malls, clubs, theme parks, trade fairs, corporate foyers, hotels, and restaurants. The 360-degree displays offer advertisers a dynamic platform to engage with audiences in diverse settings, ensuring maximum impact and brand recall.
Signage Circus, leveraging the expertise and experience gained from its associated business in Malaysia under the Cmyad brand, aims to provide state-of-the-art digital advertising solutions on a rental basis to key players in the advertising and digital screen industry.
With the launch of these innovative displays, Signage Circus is set to transform the landscape of digital advertising in India, offering advertisers a powerful tool to captivate and engage their target audiences in a rapidly evolving market.
