Taco Bell Kuwait deploys digital menu boards4 min read
AIMS is key driver of digital signage business in the region especially in QSR segment
Advanced Interactive Media Solutions (AIMS), SCALA Middle East partner and the GCC market leader in digital signage solutions, has announced that it has recently completed installation of the first state-of-the-art digital menu boards at the latest location of Taco Bell, Kuwait, within the Shaab Area, with installation in more branches in Kuwait currently underway. AIMS has always been the main driver of growing the digital signage business in the region, underscoring the increasing adoption of digital menu boards and digital signage solutions in the hospitality and quick service restaurants (QSR) segment.
The installation of the Taco Bell digital menu boards demonstrates a number of strategic advantages of digital signage solutions, including attention-grabbing displays that are highly attractive and informative; reduced costs associated with printing and shipping of the traditional menu boards; and greater efficiency by allowing content to be remotely updated and monitored from an off-site location.
As part of the global strategy of YUM International (which owns the restaurant brand Taco Bell) to have digital menus across their QSR brands, AIMS pointed out that it was commissioned by Kout Food Group, the exclusive franchisee of Taco Bell within Kuwait, to install the SCALA solution that allows menus and related promotions to be updated instantly using High Definition content to run on 42-inch LCD screens installed in the restaurant. Content is being managed and controlled by Kout Food Group IT personnel, using SCALA Content Manager, enabling quick and easy updates as often as needed and schedule offerings based on time of the day, special event, occasion and season of the year.
Ahmed El Ridi, CEO of Advanced Interactive Media Solutions, UAE said: “Interactive digital signage solutions provide a truly engaging and meaningful platform for business enterprises to communicate with their target audiences, delivering even greater value proposition for their products and further boosting their revenue potential.”
“We are now witnessing a growing number of companies realising strong ROI with digital signage solutions, creating new and exciting possibilities for business growth and innovation. AIMS is therefore pleased to provide specialised services that help business organizations in the GCC take full advantage of the power of interactive digital signage solutions,” added El Ridi.
“The newly installed Digital Menu Boards will be providing us with a dynamic and interactive representation of our products at Taco Bell. The new age of marketing is now digital and these menu boards will allow us to capitalize on various cutting edge aspects that are not possible with traditional print menu boards and we believe that the latest innovations will surely stand out against competition. Most importantly, we are a customer service oriented organization and we are confident that the application of these menu boards will positively add to the overall customer experience at our restaurants,” said Tarek S. Saeb, Marketing Manager-Taco Bell, Kuwait.
AIMS integrates the power of SCALA content management solutions, internet, interactive displays, mobile applications and communication technologies to develop interactive digital signage solutions for the region. The company also uses advanced audience measurement solutions to maximise the ROI of each campaign and ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
