Aeris Solutions has completed one of the largest and most sophisticated Hotel digital signage solutions in the country for the Mirvac property, Sebel Albert Park in Melbourne
Melbourne, Australia April 2009, Aeris Solutions has completed the installation of a digital signage solution comprising of 30 LCD screens and some highly customised software to cater for the unique requirements of the conference facilities. With 20 conference rooms on 4 different levels in three different buildings and many alternative entrances the challenge was to create a digital signage solution which not only was flexible enough for the hotel’s requirements but simple enough for the staff to be able to update quickly and easily.
A combination of Room Manager and Navori software was chosen as the most suitable for the hotel’s signage system. The advantage of Room Manager is the local development and support which allowed Aeris to provide a solution which not only met the projects requirements but in virtually all cases exceeded them.
Navori Tycoon software was used to perfectly complement Room Manager and allow the foyer screens to show a variety of content such as in-house facilities, news, weather and RSS feeds. Navori is also used to manage the day to day operations of the signage system. Staff were quickly trained and manage the entire solution with minimal work.
Custom surrounds were built to house the 30 LG and Samsung LCD screens and the entire system is centrally located in the Communications Room with staff accessing via the Hotels’s network on their own computers.
