Digital signage technology and product innovation take center stage in Las Vegas

Destination Shuttle Services recently deployed the system on their 32 buses at LAX and in 13 partner hotel locations. The system aims to enhance the hospitality experience by providing passengers with relevant travel, hotel and city information while on the buses and within the hotels.
Destination Shuttle Services has been selected as a Finalist in the 2011 APEX Awards, in the Transportation category. The annual DSE Apex Awards honor innovation in the development and deployment of technology in the global Digital Out-of-Home industry. Winners will be announced during a ceremony on Wednesday February 23, from 7 – 9pm at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.
Jack Lott, Chief Executive Officer of Destination Shuttle Services, will be speaking about the project at DSE during Seminar 31 entitled “Pre-Installation & Rollout,” taking place at 9am on Thursday February 24 in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The sessions are designed to inform and educate industry professionals about trends within the digital signage industry and the development of current and future technologies. The second, How GPS-triggered Digital Signage Makes Content on Moving Vehicles More Relevant to Viewers, on Thursday February 24 from 11:30am – 12:30pm, will discuss the ability to deliver contextual messaging to viewers on moving vehicles.
