True Colours Distribution, the technical division of Midwich, specialising in connectivity solutions for complex AV installations, has announced a UK distribution deal with market-leading digital signage developer BrightSign, on the back of the US company’s recent successes in Europe and Australia.

A worldwide provider of digital sign controllers, software, and networking solutions for the commercial digital signage industry, BrightSign is an excellent addition to the True Colours portfolio. Its solid-state digital signage media players set new standards for both stand-alone and networked digital signage applications, with superior video quality, reliability, affordability, ease of use, and interactivity.

“I am delighted to be able to offer our customers the unsurpassed digital signage capabilities of BrightSign’s slim OS,” comments Dave Raymen, technical director at True Colours. “A market-leading solution which is simple to understand, cost effective and reliable, it also delivers exceptional Full HD video quality with a solid-state platform you can depend on.”

BrightSign technology fits perfectly alongside True Colours’ existing portfolio as it can be sold as part of a preconfigured display bundle with a hosted service, offering customers a scalable and cost-effective solution. Alternatively, customers who already have screens can purchase the player as a stand-alone unit.

Whether used for a single site or to manage a worldwide multi-site hosted solution, the BrightSign system is scalable using the free BrightAuthor software. The visual-based interface enables users to easily create full-screen or multi-zone playlists for looping displays, and implement BrightSign features such as day-parting and networking. Simple data integration, or Live Text, can be used to connect Twitter feeds, stock tickers and other public and private databases to PoP displays, menu boards, waitlist, manufacturing or corporate displays and more.
