New Ergotron Interactive TV Wall Mounts Maximize IT Investment in Digital Display Technologies

Full motion display mounts add interactivity into education, healthcare and business settings

Understanding IT investment constraints in the evolving workplace, Ergotron has introduced the Interactive Arm VHD, a space-saving large display wall mount for multipurpose use within business, education and healthcare settings. Designed with patented Constant Force (CF) technology, the arm brings fluid, light-touch display movement and full-motion functionality to screens 30″ to 60″ and 35 to 70 lbs (15.9–31.8 kg) for healthier interaction between the screen and viewers. The VHD joins Ergotron’s previously released Interactive Arm LD and HD models, to accommodate a broader range of displays for video, digital signage and touch screen applications in any venue.

Ergotron’s Interactive Arm VHD extends 28″ (71 cm) from the wall, retracts to 6.5″ (17 cm) when not in use, and provides up to 20″ of vertical and horizontal adjustment. Each mount positions appropriately for the activity at hand. The complete flexibility makes corner and recessed applications possible when wall space is limited. CF technology ensures that the effort required for movement always remains minimal. The Interactive Arm LD, which mounts displays up to 32″ weighing 7–20 pounds (3.2–9.1 kg), and the Interactive Arm HD, which mounts 30″ to 55″ displays weighing 18–40 pounds (8.2–18.2 kg), have been available since December of 2011. All three arms feature post-installation leveling, tilt, 180 degrees of pan plus cable management.
