Nashville, Tennessee, now hosts an exceptional interactive floor display, EyeStep, introduced by EyeClick and innovatively installed by the local interactive design studio Anode at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum. This cutting-edge technology is part of the larger exhibit, “The Bakersfield Sound: Buck Owens, Merle Haggard and California Country,” available from March 23, 2012, to December 31, 2013, providing an immersive experience into the world of country music.
EyeStep, a revolutionary interactive media display platform, allows visitors to the exhibit to virtually “walk the streets” of Bakersfield, stepping into the music and history of icons like Merle Haggard. The installation brings artwork and sounds to life under the feet of museum-goers, creating an engaging and educational journey through country music history.
The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, since its opening in 1967, has been revered as the “home of Country Music,” earning accreditation from the American Association of Museums, a distinction shared by only a fraction of the nation’s museums. This new installation underscores the museum’s commitment to offering innovative and interactive educational experiences.
Yuval Golan, EyeClick’s VP of Marketing, expressed pride in the project, highlighting the versatility of EyeStep and its suitability for educational and engaging installations in various settings. EyeStep’s integration into the museum exhibit is a testament to its ability to transform spaces into interactive learning environments.
EyeClick’s MotionAware technology is at the core of EyeStep, activating animations and sounds through human movement, enhancing interactive displays in museums, retail environments, trade shows, and more. This technology not only entertains but also educates, offering a unique way for visitors to engage with content.
