PADS4 to be released in April
Net Display Systems (NDS) will introduce PADS4, their new digital signage solution, at Digital Signage Expo 2012 in Las Vegas. At their booth NDS will launch and demonstrate their successor of award winning PADS Professional software.
With PADS4 you can effortlessly integrate real-time data of external data sources like MS Exchange, MS Dynamics, SAP, CMS systems, room reservation systems, queue management and social media (eg. Twitter and Facebook).
“Using or re-using and displaying existing database and CMS information are important key features of PADS4,” said Louis van Geldrop, CEO of NDS. “NDS has developed a high-end digital signage solution that doesn’t require recreating existing content resulting in saving time and budget costs”.
PADS4 makes it easier to use interactivity in a signage system. This interactivity can be based on several external triggers, such as touch screens, RFID, Barcode, QR Code, face recognition, etc.
Other highlight features of PADS4 are designing of presentations with any possible content and automatic distribution to displays.
NDS’ upcoming release also comes with a Software Development Kit for custom solutions. This enables IT developers all over the world to develop custom solutions around PADS4. It’s perfect for customizing, as it is an open system that is based on standard technologies (Microsoft .NET development environment). Thus NDS allows their partners to collaborate and share their knowledge.
With PADS4 NDS is well prepared for the future in Digital Signage. It enables their extensive partner network to deploy profitable installations whether they are small or extremely large multi sited in a mission critical environment.
PADS4 will be released in April this year and will be available worldwide. NDS can be found on booth 951 at Digital Signage Expo 2012 in Las Vegas on March 7-8.
