Rose Digital, a new division of Rose Displays Ltd. that is focused on helping retailers tap the power of the iPad®, introduces its line of signware™ designed expressly for in-store iPad programs.

The new products will be showcased at GlobalShop 2012, Booth 3613 and Digital Signage Expo, Booth 1340. GlobalShop takes place February 29-March 2 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, and Digital Signage Expo on March 6-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Rose Digital also announced that it will offer a 60-day in-store test for retailers considering full-scale roll-outs. The pilot program includes iPads, docks, analytics software, and remote access. Customizable apps are also available. “This pilot program provides valuable user feedback and insights that pay tremendous dividends without the need to commit the dollars needed for a full-scale program,” said Dean Rubin, CEO of Rose Displays.

The new Rose Digital product line features four series of products, each of which is available with specialized docking options tailored to different applications or locations in the store.

The Padloc Security Series. Durable, yet very portable, these lockable docks provide the ultimate in security, accessibility and style. The tamper-proof lock securely docks and undocks with the turn of a key. The docks are constructed of aluminum, with a choice of black or silver face plates. The unit switches easily between portrait and landscape views, or the orientation can be locked in place. Covers for the home and power buttons are provided, and an integral charging port powers up the iPad whenever it is docked. Docking options are:

  •     The Padloc Table Dock, available in two models that can be permanently mounted including the Padlock POS Table Doc, designed to work with Square and Intuit POS systems
  •     The Padloc Wall Mount, with an optional VESA compatible option
  •     The Padloc Floor Stand, featuring a base that includes a security slot for a tether cable

The Diplomat Series. These elegant units can be customized with your colors, graphics, and branding – even the shape of the face-plate can be specified. Its ergonomic design is specially engineered to optimize the user interface. Its premium construction features a Corian® inlay sandwiched between metal top and bottom plates. The Diplomat can be customized to fit any tablet, Including most Android™ tablets. Docking options follow.

  •     The Diplomat Table Dock, available in two mounting angles
  •     The Diplomat Flush Mount, an optional VESA compatible mount
  •     The Diplomat Off-Wall Mount, featuring two viewing angles
  •     The Diplomat Floor Stand, with a base that includes a security slot for a tether cable

The LaunchPort Docking System is an ideal choice for store associates who need access to their iPads throughout the day. The LaunchPort features a PowerShuttle Case, a form-fitting iPad sleeve that is available in white or black. Its induction charging ring connects the iPad to the dock using magnets instead of a standard 30-pin connection. It doubles as a table display when not in use by store associates. Made of brushed aluminum for an elegant look, the BaseStation Dock delivers a wireless charge.

An optional WallStation, a special magnetic wall mounting station for the PowerShuttle, is also available. It is designed to be easily installed with full charging capabilities. A magnetic connection holds iPad firmly while allowing it to easily rotate or release.

The Protector Series helps retailers maximize sales without needing to involve staff. Designed for high-traffic situations that demand durability and security, the Protector is constructed with a rugged aluminum enclosure that holds the iPad firmly and securely in place. The rotating frame switches instantly between landscape and portrait orientations. It can be fit to any tablet and can be customized for most Android tablets. An optional home button cover is provided with the unit. The cord and power management are both incorporated to provide a continuous charge. The Protector is available in black or a clear anodized finish. Docking options are:

  •     Protector Table Dock, which can be permanently mounted
  •     Protector Flush Mount, made to work with Square and Intuit POS systems
  •     Protector Off-Wall Mount, positioned at a 40° angle for ideal viewing
  •     Protector Floor Stand, made with a base that includes a security slot for a tether cable
