This month Aldo launched their Rise collection at Selfridges’ flagship Oxford Street store in London. Kathy Acimovic, Senior PR Manager for Aldo Group said that Selfridges was the “perfect home to launch this exclusive program and collaborations and when it comes to shoes… this is really where a fashion girl comes, it’s heaven!”
To effectively raise brand awareness and get the most out of the launch they chose to utilise the vast potential of digital signage and more specifically video walls. From the 13th-25th of January Selfridges Oxford Street will be using two 3x46” High Definition LCD Video Walls as well as two 32” High Definition LCD Digital Advertising Displays located around the store to elevate the recognition of the exclusive Rise collection. The project is being co-ordinated by Jardine Couture Retail Interiors with AllSee Technologies as the chosen hardware provider.
The Video Walls are outward facing onto the high footfall area of Oxford Street. They are displaying stylish black & white videos which serve as a visual backdrop for the products, prompting shoppers to engage with the brand.
