The CCRS is a purpose-built relay appliance developed specifically for Industry Weapon’s CommandCenterHD platform while Cisco UCS Express SRE modules themselves are size, weight, and power optimized server blades for Cisco’s Generation 2Integrated Services Router (ISR G2). Cisco UCS Express enables customers to host Cisco, third-party, and custom applications virtualized in the router chassis eliminating the need to deploy and manage additional server hardware or dedicated appliances in their branch environment.
The benefit to having a platform included on Cisco UCSExpress? “Our cloud-based model means that management and employees of branch offices or retail installations can upload, design, schedule and distribute content remotely without deploying additional standalone servers or appliances,” added Crognale. “It is incredibly convenient for clients who subscribe to CommandCenterHD to manage remote installations directly from the individual locations.”
