Kuwait – In an ambitious blend of shopping and entertainment, the Family Entertainment Center at 360 Mall in Kuwait has transformed traditional mall visits into a high-tech, interactive experience. The center, outfitted by Electrosonic with Christie projection systems, has quickly become a magnet for families seeking a unique leisure destination.

Electrosonic, a global audio-visual company, undertook an extensive project over 18 months to install state-of-the-art entertainment technologies designed by Concept i Design and commissioned by Tamdeen Entertainment Company. This project includes advanced LED lighting, digital signage, video projection, special effects, audio, and show control systems, culminating in a captivating environment for visitors of all ages.

One of the highlights of the center is the Infunity Zone, which features a Christie DS+750 projector. This 7500 ANSI lumens 1-chip DLP® SXGA+ projector enhances the zone’s attractions by projecting interactive images, such as popping balloons and swimming fish, directly onto the floor. This setup utilizes GestureTek’s gesture-controlled tracking technology, allowing children to interact directly with the projections.

The Freeze Club, tailored for teenagers, sports a North Pole theme and includes arcades, video games, and simulators. The club’s entrance boasts an interactive video wall powered by two Christie DHD700 1-chip DLP® HD projectors and GestureTek technology, creating an engaging and immersive experience. Additional features like a low-lying fog effect and a laser system that simulates the Aurora Borealis further enhance the atmosphere.

In terms of visual impact, Infunity impresses with 67 LED fixtures that illuminate the games area and an extensive LED video wall, which is among the largest in Kuwait. Meanwhile, the Freeze Club features extensive digital signage and a low-resolution LED wall that displays dynamic visuals such as fire and rain patterns across its surface.

Moreover, the entertainment complex houses a 20-lane bowling alley, equipped with an advanced lighting system that includes color-changing fibers and an array of nine chandeliers, adding a touch of luxury to the sport.

Christie Digital Systems Canada Inc., a leader in visual technologies and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ushio, Inc. of Japan, has provided the projectors that are central to these attractions. Renowned for its innovative solutions, Christie continues to influence the market with its dynamic display technologies that captivate audiences worldwide.
