Celnik noted that Hurricane Irene recently caused more guests than usual to monitor the Resort’s FlyteBoards.  “Storms always make our flight information services more important to guests, and most of them print boarding passes at our FlytePass terminal in the business center.  Many guests have never seen this kind of familiar flight display outside of airports and it impresses them.  I cannot see why more hotels do not offer this service.”

Atlantic Resort and Spa installed a large high-definition FlyteBoard that displays airline departure times for Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, Palm Beach International, and Miami International airports. “Guests utilize all three airports and appreciate our comprehensive travel information,” Celnik said.  “One area of our FlyteBoard also shows Doppler radar and national weather that adds another layer of service that travelers value.”
