Noventri Digital Signage Finds a Place At the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center2 min read
Now visitors to the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center need only to look at one of many screens throughout the center to find out if flights are on time, delayed or canceled thanks to digital signage from Noventri.
The Convention Center has installed a digital signage network with content up and running on screens, which are powered by Noventri Eco-Series SF-100e digital signage players. The flight information can be activated on any screens throughout the complex in areas that are populated by visitors. This is made possible since the building has a cable system throughout the entire complex.
According to Paul O’Connell, Director of IT Services at New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, there are plans to expand the network of flight boards and digital signage over time in three different phases.
The center features 1.1 million square feet of exhibit space with two 30,000 square feet ballrooms, a 4,000-seat theater and 140 meeting rooms. Nearly one million visit the facility annually.
The Noventri Eco-Series SF-100e digital signage player is a solid state, “green” option that provides ease of use and stability to users, while sporting extreme features for content creation with the included Noventri Suite and Noventri Server digital signage software.
