signagelive logoSignagelive, a cloud-based digital signage software company, will visit Gitex Technology Week in Dubai from 14-18 October 2012. Roy Martin, Signagelive’s Channel Development Manager for EMEA will be at the show, sharing his knowledge on the digital signage industry and introducing Signagelive products to the Middle East market.

Signagelive offers cloud-based solutions that are scalable, have no upfront or hidden costs, can be used on any player and are simple to install and maintain. The company has a business model based on total transparency on pricing, openness on content creation platforms, and total device agnosticism. To make things even easier, the software is multilingual and customers have free online support on demand.

Using Rackspace cloud-hosting services for its media storage and delivery, allows Signagelive to provide a seamless and fast service to its clients, no matter where in the world they are. Companies can manage their network from anywhere, using a standard web-browser to log in into the system.

Signagelive has also created a custom performance monitoring application using Cloud Servers and Cloud Load Balancer APIs, that enables it to scale up or down on demand when required. In times of peak (or unexpected) load, Signagelive automatically increases the number of servers available to network customers, ensuring that the user experience remains a constant and is not degraded by any large spikes in traffic.

Jason Cremins, Signagelive CEO says: “Ultimately we want to create a solution that is as simple as downloading an application to your mobile phone. We are working closely with USA-based company Insteo to create a unique mix of Apps, UI design, and content management controls, that will provide clients with freedom to use their communications as it is best suited for them. We encourage our customers to go beyond the digital signage screen and engage with their audience. You don’t need to be a big corporation to use digital signage. Our solutions are suited to anyone and everyone.”

Mobility has also been included in Signagelive offerings. Signagelive’s player for Android turns any Android device into a digital signage media player enabling passive, interactive and kiosk modes for playback of your media including support for Media RSS feeds.

Signagelive supports a wide de range of devices, in 42 languages. The cloud-based software can be used on PC and non-PC digital signage hardware, such as the IAdea products; to Android mobile phones, tablets, kiosks and screen savers.
