This year, on 29-30 May, the Novotel Airport hotel in Warsaw will hold the third edition of the international Digital Signage Trends Conference – a business event addressed to businesses and institutions interested in using or creating Digital Signage networks for advertising and informative purposes. Hundreds of representatives of various industries will meet during this two-day forum.
This year, the organizer has introduced two significant changes, in response to suggestions submitted by participants of previous editions. First of all, a thematic division was introduced to the conference, dividing it into two separate days with independent programs, which will provide participants with the opportunity to either attend two-day proceedings, or just on one day of their choice. The second novelty is the free admission to the Expo, due to which the offer provided by the Sponsors and Exhibitors will reach a larger audience.
The topics on the first day will concern all issues related to advertisement in DS media. This will include such topics as e.g. a review of DS networks in Poland, standardization and study results, advertisement content, aggregation of media and the available advertising time, and cooperation with media houses and advertisers. Furthermore, the Polish Digital Signage Association plans on presenting a report on DS market in Poland. Also, the second edition of the Content Day has been planned; this includes a session for people dealing with preparing visual and substantive messages on DS media. Exchange of information will be organized as part of the workshops, as well as a review of various concepts from Poland and abroad, of which the most interesting shall be presented to all conference participants.
The day will end with the PDSA Awards Gala, where awards will be given to the laureates of the competition under patronage of the Polish Digital Signage Association.
The second day covers advertising and informative DS, installed in privately owned facilities (e.g. banks, telecom operators, etc.) as well as in public places (railway stations, stadium, museums, hotels, etc.). Examples of the most interesting solutions, new trends and technologies (interaction, touch, gestures), hardware and software solutions. The latest solutions regarding infokiosks will also be presented, including outdoor applications. PDSA also plans on presenting a collection of good practice in DS systems installation.
DS EXPO is a fair that can accompany the conference proceedings for 2 days; here, businesses representing the DS market in Poland will present themselves. Also independent fairs will be held during the conference, covering the area of 400m2.
The patron of the conference is the Polish Digital Signage Association, with NEC Display Solutions as the General Sponsor.
