Scala and Blue Chip Technology have partnered to create a range of dedicated hardware players designed, tested and pre-loaded with Scala digital signage software.
Blue Chip now offers a wide range of pre-installed Scala images for Scala’s EMEA customer base – simplifying system set-up for a quicker installation.
The new range of PC-based players covers the spectrum of Scala user requirements, the L3 and P1 models being cost-effective workhorses for the mainstream user while the E2 and 2U address the most demanding content with high-end graphics and quadcore CPU support. Incorporating special design features such as rugged chassis, wide operating temperatures, maglev fans and high MTBF hard drives, Blue Chip platforms are ideally equipped for demanding digital signage applications. All Blue Chip hardware players are designed and manufactured in the UK, EMC tested and fully CE approved.
“This partnership ensures the Scala customer base will have easy access to a range of proven hardware solutions with volume pricing, consistent availability and managed lifecycle, key considerations in high-profile signage applications,” said Damon Crowhurst, Director of Services for Scala EMEA.
