Qseven is an off-the-shelf, multi-vendor, Computer-on-Module that integrates the core components of a common PC. Incorporating Qseven modules into the Connect Tech carrier boards provides instant access to current embedded processors that are easily upgradable to accommodate future generations.
Connect Tech Qseven carrier boards for lite feature set requirements offer a variety of embedded processor options including Intel® Atom™, Freescale i.MX51, TI OMAP and NVIDIA Tegra. These carrier boards are not tied to any specific bus architecture and offer Mini-PCIe and SIM-card expansion capability. Add your choice of Mini-PCIe peripherals, including WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth or storage depending on your application, and gain instant access to a low cost, compact computing solution ideal for soldier wearables, mobile entertainment, kiosks, digital signage and gaming to name just a few.
For applications that require feature rich I/O solutions, as well as a rugged form factor, Connect Tech’s PCI-104 and PCIe/104 single board computers are completely scalable and can be used with any industry standard I/O from the massive PC/104 ecosystem. The PCI-104 and PCIe/104 solutions offer on-board connectors providing access to 2x SATA, 1x Gigabit Ethernet, 4x USB 2.0, LVDS and VGA Video, 2x RS-232 and 2x RS-422/485 serial ports. These feature rich solutions provide instant proof of concept. For larger applications, customization of the existing off-the-shelf PC/104 carrier boards can pin-point specific features and/or alter the size and shape of the board to easily meet specific application requirements. This ensures that the production build is as economical as possible while ensuring a perfect fit.
