Demonstrations to include content ingest for digital signage and new video on demand interface
Johns Creek, Georgia – Wegener Corporation (OTCQB: WGNR.PK), a leading provider of equipment for television, audio and data distribution networks worldwide, today announced it has provided video equipment to Blue Hat Design to showcase digital signage and on-demand training applications at the 2011 National Religious Broadcaster (NRB) Convention and Exposition in Nashville. Blue Hat Design is exhibiting in booth 1023.
The equipment will be used to preview WEGENER’s Open Ingest solution for CompelConnect.com™ controlled digital signs. The Open Ingest solution helps faith-based organizations distribute the workload of updating multiple signs to more people, in a secure fashion. Organizations can seamlessly introduce standard approval processes, email confirmations and format conversion work without directly accessing core network control operations.
In addition, visit Blue Hat Design to preview WEGENER’s new library mode for WEGENER iPump® media servers. This mode supports training programs requiring video on demand capability. The new library mode supports custom on-screen-display graphics, a full featured remote control and remote access to media through a web interface.
