Cisco to Showcase Cutting-Edge Digital Signage Solutions at Digital Signage Expo 2011

Cisco is set to demonstrate its latest advancements in network-based signage solutions at the Digital Signage Expo (DSE) 2011, scheduled from February 22-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event will highlight Cisco’s innovative approaches to dynamic live streaming, on-demand video, and motion graphics, emphasizing the company’s leadership in the rapidly growing digital signage market.

Attendees visiting Cisco’s booth will experience a range of cutting-edge digital signage technologies:

  • Video Everywhere: Cisco will display an expanded line of professional-grade high-definition LCD models in 42-, 47-, and 55-inch sizes, which will also be showcased on a video wall.
  • Robust Scalability: The Cisco Digital Media Player 4310, introduced in October 2010, will be featured. It offers network-based scalable technology combined with Adobe Flash, managed remotely via an iPod interface.

Partner Technologies

Cisco will also feature technology from its partners, including:

  • Array Interactive: Integration of Cisco Digital Signs with a touch screen application and Cisco TelePresence for virtual expert on-demand solutions.
  • Cisco Nexus® On-Demand: AppSpace and Cisco Digital Media Suite will demonstrate flexible content updates and digital media applications.
  • Industry Weapon: Interactive signage controlled by an iPad interface, showcasing engagement through digital signs offering coupons and promotions redeemable on mobile devices.
