In case if you missed announced that its Executive Producer Matt Welton will take part in a panel discussion at the 2012 Sports Video Group League Technology Summit. The session, titled “Second Screen Update: The Unified Experience,” will take place Dec. 10 from 3:30 to 4 p.m. at the New York Hilton and will address the latest advances in enhancing the second-screen sports experience.

The panel will focus on what it takes to create a perfectly synced second-screen sports experience and the limitations that sometimes get in the way. Welton brings to the panel‘s perspective as the creator of the Social TV framework that has enabled second-screen interaction with the Tour de France, IIHF hockey matches, and more — along with his own perspective as an expert in interactive and traditional media.

Joining Welton on the panel are Mio Babic, iStream Planet CEO; Sam Blackman, Elemental Technologies founder and CEO; and Jason Kint, CBS Interactive senior VP and general manager. Sports Video Group Managing Editor Jason Dachman will moderate the discussion.
