Leading digital signage provider completes deal with First Community Bank

SmartScreen Limited, through its local partner Screen Media Limited, today announced a new agreement with First Community Bank (FCB) to implement its state-of-the-art Digital Signage screens across all branches countrywide.

SmartScreen Limited last year announced a deal with Amscreen that saw them become the exclusive distributor of the UK’s largest nationwide digital media network owner’s innovative solutions across the Middle East and Africa. Now, the UAE’s largest nationwide digital media network owner and operator is proudly venturing into Africa through key partners in the region. SmartScreen, together with their exclusive distribution partner Screen Media Limited will work with Brand Builder Kenya, who have been appointed as the exclusive media sales agency. This deal sees SmartScreen continue its expansion outside of the UAE, following the recent announcement of the growth of its forecourt network into Oman.

Abdul Bakhrani, CEO of SmartScreen, said: “We are excited in venturing into Africa through my home country Kenya. Our relationship with First Community Bank, which is one of the regions fastest growing banks, is key to our presence in the region as it signifies our commitment to partner with dynamic local entities that are willing to utilise innovative and cutting-edge technology as an integral part of their growth strategy.”

Abdullatif Essajee, Managing Director of First Community Bank, said: “This deal is an exciting development as FCB becomes the first bank in Kenya to utilise digital media to promote its unique offerings as well as provide an opportunity for its customer to showcase their products, services and promotions in the most cost-effective manner to a target audience.  We look forward to working with SmartScreen, Screen Media and Brand Builder Kenya to ensure that the technology is maximised to its full potential.”
