proAV has been officially recognised as a Cisco Authorised Digital Media System (DMS) Partner, one of just a handful of organisations in the UK who have demonstrated an ability to support clients with integrated DMS across the UK.
The Cisco DMS Partner Program is designed specifically for partners with a proven network design and deployment practice and who can adopt new Cisco technologies fast, developing new business practices around them in the process.
Cisco DMS is a comprehensive suite that includes digital signage, enterprise TV and desktop video applications, delivering live broadcasts, on-demand videos, TV feeds and a compelling global communication experience. It’s an invaluable, scalable solution that integrates seamlessly with existing video conferencing infrastructure and extends the reach of the portfolio of Cisco TelePresence. Key benefits are a streamlined digital media management capability, reduced costs and an enhanced telepresence experience for customers and partners.
proAV has commissioned and is supporting a number of DMS deployments through a number of high profile, integrated AV system projects, including the University of Salford’s Media City solution.
To achieve Cisco DMS Partner status, proAV account managers, systems engineers and field engineers underwent a thorough training programme, passing a series of mandatory exams successfully. By completing the programme, proAV now has access to Cisco Partner Space, the Emerging Technology resource centre and the remote test lab. However, the most notable benefit is proAV’s market differentiation as a recognised DMS Partner on the Cisco Partner Locator, recognition that will further enhance the organisation’s reputation as a leading integrator of digital media and video solutions.
Indeed, as Danny Rogers, Director, Video Communications at proAV confirms, ‘following numerous global deployments of digital media solutions, proAV has become synonymous with and experts in this technology and the move into the supply of the Cisco DMS product offering illustrates our absolute belief in the product. It also demonstrates our long term commitment to the Cisco technology direction with regard to digital media and the competitive advantage it offers us.’
