neclogoNEC Display Solutions Europeis showcasing the very latest additions to its product and solution portfolios at ISE 2012, including a range of new digital signage, videowall and rental and signage applications.

ISE is the largest professional AV and systems integration trade show in Europe and this year’s show takes place in Amsterdam from 31 January to 2 February 2012. NEC’s booth will be located in Hall 4, R24.

Augmenting NEC’s current digital and retail signage product portfolio will be the MultiSync®X462HB, a product designed specifically for high brightness environments. With a brightness value of 1.500cd/m2 it offers good readability even in sun flooded buildings. The display is equipped with a special filter that enables owners of polarised sunglasses to view the content on the screen even if the display is mounted in portrait orientation. At ISE, NEC will show X461HB and X462HB next to each other demonstrate the difference.

The latest developments in videowalls will be highlighted in the form of a 2×2 MultiSync® X463UN videowall and impressive 6×4 videowall consisting of 24MultiSync® X551UN displays. The former is a bank of four 46-inch displays with direct LED backlighting, dual slot support and ultra-slim bezels for an almost seamless videowall. The latter provides an array of 55-inch professional high-definition displays, boasting an ultra-high resolution of 50 mega pixels, and all supported through professional server technology, designed to cope with the stringent and taxing needs of airports and similar industries.

The show will also be the location for NEC’s unveiling of its revolutionary Digital Out-Of-Home AdServing platform VUKUNET. VUKUNET is a comprehensive AdServing Platform that connects screen owners and media agencies, allowing every internet-connected screen to be potentially turned into an advertising face and generate incremental revenues. The VUKUNET launch will be augmented with demonstrations of NEC’s Field Analyst software, designed to provide accurate audience measurement by automatically registering factors such as gender, age, distance from display and viewing time.

Also on display will be the leafengine, a joint R&D project with NEC Laboratories in Heidelberg aimed at creating more intelligent digital signage solutions through the development of a distributed middleware layer that offers sensor plug-and-play functionality, facilitating the gathering of data for content targeting, interaction and audience measurement.

All of these will appear on NEC’s over 400 square meter stand alongside a host of other innovative products and solutions including professional installation projectors, desktop displays, mounts and software applications, as well as videos and demonstrations displaying NEC’s expertise in areas such as videowall framing and projector edge-blending.

As well as the latest products and applications, a host of NEC experts will be on hand at the stand to discuss the latest updates across the organisation and industry. Spokespeople from NEC Display Solutions Europe include:
