Digital View announces the launch of the beta version of its DV-Studio 2 Beta for Mac.

Digital View logoDigital View, the media player company has announced the Mac Beta release of its major upgrade to its free digital media player content management software. Now in version 2 the software is available online or by inquiry for all Digital View media player owners.

‘DV-Studio 2 for the Mac represents a lot of hard work. We’ve completely rebuilt the interface to deliver a much more user friendly experience. DV-Studio is such an important part of how media is organized, scheduled and played back on Digital View media players as well as setting up how interactivity will work with peripherals,’ commented James Henry CEO of Digital View.

DV-Studio 2 Beta for Mac is an important upgrade as previously DV-Studio has only been available on the Windows platform. With a further upgrade later this year to launch DV-Studio 2 for PC, Digital View is demonstrating its commitment to improving its customers experience with its family of ViewStreamâ„¢ digital media players and all-in-one LCD screen and media player family of VideoFlyerâ„¢ products. This free software allows owners of ViewStreamâ„¢ and VideoFlyerâ„¢ media players to create playlists and schedule playback times as well configure network options and view data logs. The upgrade brings more features to network digital signage media owners using Digital View media players at an amazing price – it’s Free.

More information on DV-Studio 2 Mac Beta is available on the Digital View website, where the software can be tried out for free. Digital View plan to release the full software upgrade late 2010/ early 2011.
