PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has announced the release of Philips ScreenShare, an advanced wireless presentation software. Designed to streamline content sharing in classrooms and corporate settings, Philips ScreenShare offers secure, inclusive, and effortless collaboration without the need for additional hardware.

Available pre-installed on the Philips Collaboration Displays BDL3152E and BDL4152E, and for download on compatible models via PPDS Wave, Philips ScreenShare allows users to transform meeting and learning environments into fully connected spaces. The software supports up to 100 participants in a single session, with compatibility across Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, ChromeOS, and Android devices.

“We’ve created a solution that ensures everyone in the room can contribute equally, from the most vocal participants to the quietest voices,” explained Frank Trossen, Global Business Development Director at PPDS.

Key Features and Benefits

Philips ScreenShare provides:

  • Universal Compatibility: Connect seamlessly with any device or operating system using AirPlay, Google Cast, or Miracast.
  • Secure Content Sharing: Sessions are initiated with a unique six-digit code, refreshed periodically for data protection.
  • Inclusive Collaboration: Features like GridView and Extended GridView enable up to nine devices to share screens simultaneously.
  • Annotation and Whiteboard Tools: Facilitators can enhance presentations with interactive drawing and writing tools.

Ed Morgan, COO of DisplayNote, shared, “Our collaboration ensures that educators and business professionals can enjoy secure, efficient, and user-friendly technology.”

The software is designed with ease of use in mind, requiring minimal training. Participants simply enter the session code into the Philips ScreenShare app or browser, enabling instant connectivity. Once a session concludes, all devices are disconnected automatically to prevent unauthorized access.

Philips ScreenShare also supports diverse file formats, including audio (MP3, WAV), documents (DOC, PDF, TXT), images (JPG, PNG), and video (MP4, AVI).

Philips ScreenShare promotes interactive learning and collaboration with its innovative tools and centralized repository for session files. Even absent participants can access shared content, ensuring no one misses out on critical information.

“By removing technical barriers, Philips ScreenShare empowers users to focus on collaboration, creativity, and productivity,” said Siddarth Gopal, Global Director of Software Solutions at PPDS.

With its emphasis on cost-efficiency and accessibility, Philips ScreenShare offers a competitive solution for businesses and educational institutions looking to modernize their presentation and collaboration systems.
