PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has introduced a new technology plugin for the Q-SYS Platform. This integration simplifies the management of Philips digital signage, interactive displays, and All-In-One LED walls running on Android System on Chip (SoC).
The collaboration between PPDS and Q-SYS aims to deliver a seamless audio, video, and control (AV&C) experience, catering to industries such as corporate, education, government, transportation, retail, hospitality, and public venues.
Key Features of the PPDS Wave Plugin
The PPDS Wave Plugin for Q-SYS offers users a streamlined approach to managing AV systems. Through a single interface, users can control essential display functions such as power, volume, input source, brightness, and screen orientation. The plugin also provides real-time status updates and secure cloud connectivity, ensuring reliable system operation.
This integration reduces the complexity of AV management by enabling quick access to critical display settings, improving efficiency for IT teams and AV integrators.
Seamless Compatibility
The plugin is compatible with a range of PPDS Wave-ready Philips Android SoC displays, including:
- Philips Signage 3000 Series (Q-Line)
- Philips Signage 4000 Series (D-Line)
- Philips Interactive (T-Line)
Developed in collaboration with The Farm, an official Q-SYS development partner, the plugin is now available for download via the Q-SYS Designer Asset Manager.

PPDS has made the new technology accessible for live demonstrations at its global network of Studios, including the recently launched PPDS Studio NYC Metro in North America. These demos showcase how the plugin enhances AV control and simplifies the user experience.
