John Ryan Wins Gold in 2012 DSA Crown Awards

John Ryan, a global retail marketing agency, received a Gold 2012 Digital Screen Association (DSA) Crown Award in a ceremony held in New York on Nov. 7, 2012, bringing to 3 the total number of DSA awards received in the past two years.

Topping the Point of Wait category, the award recognized a 13-channel multimedia display system in BBVA’s innovative flagship branch in Madrid. Among the site’s features are a 63-foot exterior LED display, interactive kiosks (with on-line user tracking), a monumental interior projection column and various touch screen kiosks and tablet displays — most of which are integrated with the bank’s queue management system.

The entire system is powered by John Ryan’s Messaging Manager content management platform, which is the most widely deployed in both US and European retail banking. The company’s full-service multimedia content agency was responsible for the concept and production of messaging throughout the branch.

“We’re honored that BBVA’s innovative work was recognized by the DSA,” says Miguel Durán, general manager of John Ryan.
