Opening offices in China will give Prysm a central hub to better reach and support the Asian markets by offering best in class videowall solutions, installations and support. Prysm is eager to continue revolutionizing the large-format display marketplace by bringing the LPD technology to new markets across the world.

“I’m excited to introduce Prysm’s technology to China,” said Sidney Rittenberg, Jr., Prysm’s VP/GM in Greater China. “Prysm’s groundbreaking LPD innovations raise the bar in large format videowall displays in functionality, appearance, and environmental awareness. By bringing our technology to China we are working hard to make this industry truly greener, while delivering more stunning videowall displays to viewers.”

Over the past decade consumers have come to expect a higher level of AV experience from the events and activities in which they participate. Whether in a command and control environment or corporate environment, or retail locations, sporting event, airport or tradeshow, consumers demand AV experiences that are sophisticated, immersive and engaging. Captivating the audience and creating a spectacular event with visual interaction requires creativity and freedom in the design. LPD is completely scalable and can deliver to any shape, size and resolution.

“With the power consumption of a 150W light bulb per square meter and the scalability to virtually any size application, LPD is generating excitement from prospective customers around the world.” said Amit Jain, CEO of Prysm, Inc. “Although we knew that image quality would appeal to commercial AV customers everywhere, we have also found that LPD energy efficiency to be very important in every geographic market.”

Prysm’s LPD solutions break away from traditional display technologies by offering freeform flexibility, long-lasting performance, and lifelike, lifesize, HD imagery that captivates audiences in any setting. Built on solid-state lasers that deliver brilliant image quality and the fastest video content, Prysm’s displays provide striking video viewable from 178-degrees. Running off of a standard 110V outlet and using up to 75% less power than traditional backlit or projection technology-based products, Prysm’s displays create high impact brand experiences without the need for special power or cooling infrastructure.

Prysm’s LPD display will be on display at booth A9-01 at InfoComm China 2012, which is happening from April 11-13 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, China.
