Avanti unveils interactive digital signage pods at Gloucester Quays

Avanti Screenmedia_logoAvanti Screenmedia has recently installed two digital six-sheet interactive pods at Gloucester Quays, Peel Holdings newest retail centre. A further four pods are due to be installed at the centre later this month.

“The pods a core part of our commercial proposition and integral to enhancing the Gloucester Quays shopper experience,” said Jon Levenson, managing director of Peel Advertising Ltd, part of the Peel Group of companies and owner of Gloucester Quays.

The Pods are built by Esprit Digital and supported by BroadSign technology. They are slimmer in design (2000mm x 800mm x 250mm) than other products in the market, and are made up of two 57-inch HD plasma screens with one panel dedicated to advertising and the other an interactive mall guide.

Looks great (there are 6 units in total at the site) – shame they forgot to mention it was Acquire (www.acquiredigital.com) instead of broadsign used on all of the units on one side (the left-hand image) to do all the digital signage and interactivity. Also, all of the content on the interactive side, including wayfinder, live news and infromation, and a gift card lookup was supplied by working solutions (www.working-solutions.co.uk).
