Mitsubishi Electric Corporation announced today that it has received an order for Japan’s largest digital signage system from Narita International Airport, comprising a total of 340 display units including two pairs of 330-inch screens, an unprecedented concave organic light-emitting display (OLED) screen and multiple touch-screen displays. Partial operation is scheduled to begin in March 2012 and full operation by that summer.
Core features of the system include:
| · | Two pairs of 330-inch LCD display systems, each side consisting of 24 46-inch panels. |
| · | Panorama Vision, the world’s first 180-degree OLED concave screen, featuring high-brightness and high-contrast. |
| · | Approximately 100 user stations comprising multiple LCD touch-screen display |
Narita International Airport, under an initiative to enhance customer convenience, is upgrading its digital signage system with user-friendly, easy-to-view displays and dynamic visual advertising.
