The TE1594R-D is a 15-inch, bezel-free touch monitor. As part of the TE series, it boasts both elegance and durability, what Carol Nordin, president of TouchSystems, likes to call “streamlined elegance.”

The bezel free TE 15” finds application in retail, hospitality, quick service restaurants (QSR), and public kiosks. Its sturdy exterior is designed to withstand heavily trafficked areas, and it offers a magnetic card reader (MSR) option. The resistive touch technology also ensures a long life for the monitor and protects the screen from scratches and splashes.

Although the bezel free TE 15” may claim the rugged design of the other monitors found in the TE Series, it’s less noticeable. The bezel free design makes the monitor aesthetically pleasing. There is no gap between the glass and the touch technology due to the bezel free design; that is, the monitor features a flush screen. The flush screen is a huge asset. Nordin explains, “The flush screen makes the monitor easy to clean and maintain. At the end of the day, an employee merely has to wipe the surface from edge to edge. He or she doesn’t have to worry about debris or buildup around the bezel.”

The monitor’s other benefits include ergonomic touch. The monitor can be set at a variety of angles, and the display’s surface is pleasing to the touch. The bezel free TE 15” also is HID compliant. A person purchasing the monitor only has to connect the monitor to a power source in order to begin using it.
